Badger Bowl Live Music
Magic 7
The primordial roots of the band begin, of course, with the band Last Crack.
Paul (Pablo) Schluter & Buddo were the main guitarist and lead vocalist for the seminal 1990's hard rock band Last Crack. Pablo & Buddo reunited in 1994 to form Magic 7.
After some member shifting and persistent searching, Pablo & Buddo auditioned and enlisted two great players: Mike (Miguel) Haefner on drums, and Darren (Triple X) Soderholm on bass guitar. Having completed the acquisition of these two, the band became its final format: The rock quartet.
Magic 7 then wrote, recorded and played live an amalgamation of twenty or so songs including "Sunrise, New Day," "Drifter," "Drowning in a Dream," and also garnished continued air play with their cover of "Little Drummer Boy."
The band fell into an abyss when an inter-band love quarrel ensued.
Having reached a point of obvious change, Muzzy approached Buddo to take up the gauntlet to reunite and complete the hibernating Magic 7.
Currently, the "new" Magic 7 is playing select shows in the Madison area, putting final touches on the current EP, and developing the other new material coming down the pike.
